How often should a furnace be serviced?
Once a year, ideally in the fall before the heating season starts.
How long does a tune-up take?
Usually about an hour for a typical home furnace. It can take longer if we find something that needs a closer look.
How often should I change the furnace filter?
Check it every month or two during the heating season. A standard filter usually needs changing every one to three months, sooner with pets or renovation dust.
