Air Conditioning and Ductless Mini-Splits in Ottawa

If your air conditioner is at the end of its life, it is worth looking at a heat pump. It is the same kind of outdoor equipment, it cools just as well, and it heats your home through most of the winter too. We install both. See heat pumps.
Ductless mini-splits
Mini-splits are the answer for spaces without ductwork: condos, additions, finished basements, sunrooms and single rooms that never keep up. Each indoor head is controlled separately, so you only cool (or heat) the rooms you use.

Air conditioning questions
Should I get an air conditioner or a heat pump?
If you are replacing old equipment anyway, a heat pump usually makes more sense because it cools and heats. If you only want cooling, a new air conditioner is still an option. We will lay out both.
Can you install a mini-split in a condo?
Often, yes. Most condo buildings have rules about outdoor units and wall penetrations, so check with your condo board first, then call us.
How long does an air conditioner last?
Many last around 15 years with regular maintenance. Past that, repairs tend to come more often.
Do you service commercial rooftop units?
Yes. We service and replace rooftop units, and handle the electrical side with our own team.
